This is a blog detailing our summer road trip across Europe with two kids aged 5 and 7. Our kids travel quite well but are not great on long journeys and we are hoping the “how long” questions don’t start until we are at least out of our postcode area!

Starting out from where we live in South West London, we plan to take the car via Le Shuttle to Calais down through France to the Northern Spanish coast and then head back up through the Pyrenees and home again.

We typically like to break up long journeys with an activity stop so there should be lots of details here for places to stop, explore and enjoy as we make our way across France and Spain.
